A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Seconded uses the cookies it needs to work, and, only if you say yes, Google Analytics cookies so we can see which pages help people. We never use advertising cookies.
Cookies we use
- Login cookies (wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*): set only if you log in to manage the site. They keep you signed in.
- Account cookies on app.seconded.co.uk: set only if a business owner logs in to their account. They keep you signed in.
Other services
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): count visits and show which pages are used, so we can improve the site. They last up to two years. They are only set after you press Accept on the cookie message, and Google Analytics isn't loaded at all until you do. We have turned off Google's advertising features.
Your choice is remembered in your browser. To change it, use Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page).
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with them. Google doesn't set cookies for this.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the login cookies will stop you signing in, but the rest of the site will work normally.
