What Seconded is
Seconded is a directory that helps people find local businesses, read reviews and ask for quotes. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a business. Any work, price, guarantee or dispute is between you and the business you choose.
Information on the site
Business details come from public sources and from businesses themselves. We work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee they're complete or up to date. Cost guides and calculators give typical prices to help you plan. They're a guide, not a quote.
Reviews
If you write a review, it must be your own honest experience and follow our review policy. You give us permission to publish, display and share your review on Seconded. We may decline or remove reviews that break the policy.
Paid listings
Businesses can pay to appear in the top or second spot for a category and town. These spots are labelled "Featured". Payment never affects reviews or ratings. Separate terms apply to business accounts.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no scraping, spam, fake enquiries or reviews, attempts to break security, or anything unlawful.
Our responsibility to you
We aren't responsible for the work, products or conduct of businesses listed on Seconded. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms, and will change the date below when we do. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring claims in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
